FAQ’s

How does Reggie Telehealth work?

Once you enroll in your membership, you will have unlimited access to our vets for any questions or concerns you have related to your pet. Talk to your Reggie vet via message-based chat or schedule a video call directly from your account. Your vet may also recommend a treatment plan as appropriate.

What can I talk to my Reggie vet about?

In short, anything! Common conditions or concerns we help with include: allergies, behavioral issues, constipation, coughing, dental issues / care, destructive behavioral, diet & nutrition, ear care / infections, eye infections or discharge, hospice / elderly care, irregular eating, itching, joint health, minor wounds, obesity / weight loss, rash / inflamed skin, separation anxiety, vomiting, and more!

How will I talk to my Reggie vet?

We allow customers to reach their vet via messaging and video calls. Once you're a member, you can message your vet directly or schedule a video call on your account portal.

Can my vet offer me treatments?

When our vets think your dog would benefit from prescription-based treatment, they are able to prescribe a personalized treatment plan that can be delivered directly to your door. In this case, you will be responsible for the cost of the medications should you want to follow the treatment plan.

Why would I want virtual telehealth if I already have a vet?

There are two main reasons! 1) A majority of common issues and concerns for pet parents can be resolved without an in-person trip to the vet. In-person trips can be expensive, inconvenient, and stressful if unnecessary. 2) There are a lot of questions we have as pet parents that we would love expert guidance on, but do not have time with our vets to discuss all of these topics. Talk to our vets as questions come up. What's the best all-natural dental chew you may ask? Probably not something you would go to the vet for, but definitely something you could use vet advice on! Let us help!

Will Reggie fully replace in-person vet care?

No. In-person care is still necessary for some things, and our vets will advise you if in-person care is best for any specific concerns. Our vets are fully licensed veterinarians who also see patients at their respective in-person clinics in addition to offering their services to Reggie customers. Our vets will always advise you on the path that is best for your pet!

Can Reggie provide emergency care?

No. If you have an emergency (e.g., severe wounds, choking, ingestion toxicity) please seek care from an emergency clinic.
