The active ingredients in our skin+coat chews, omega-3 fish oils, have seen shown to help ease itching and allergy issues in dogs. In a double-blinded crossover study conducted by the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, dogs receiving omega-3 supplementation containing EPA and DHA showed a significant improvement in itchy skin and coat character over a 15 week period.

Omega-3 fatty acids, specifically EPA and DHA, are commonly used for the management of osteoarthritis-associated inflammation and pain. They are thought to decrease inflammation throughout a dog's body, including the joints, leading to a decrease in cellular injury and tissue damage. A study by the Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine found that dietary supplementation with fish oil omega-3 fatty acids resulted in an improvement in weight bearing in dogs with osteoarthritis and a significant increase in peak vertical force.

Every dog is different, but your pup could begin to see results within a few weeks. For best results, it is recommended to continue your dog's daily regimen for 3-4 months.
